What CAD and Revit work can you take on?
Typical work includes plans, elevations and sections, drawing revisions, drawing production from sketches or mark-ups, survey information to CAD, planning drawings, technical drawing support and updates to existing Revit models. The exact deliverables are agreed before work starts.
Can you work within our templates, title blocks and drawing standards?
Yes. Supply your templates, title blocks, layer or line-weight conventions, naming rules and revision procedure. The aim is to return work that fits your existing drawing system, rather than make you adopt ours.
Can we use Lawson-Gill for one revision or ongoing support?
Yes. Support can be scoped as a one-off task, a defined package on a live project, overflow capacity during a busy period or an ongoing working arrangement.
What information can we send?
We can review sketches, marked-up PDFs, surveys, photographs, existing DWGs and existing Revit information. We confirm whether the information is sufficient, along with the required software version and outputs, before agreeing the scope.
What files will we receive?
Editable native files and PDFs can be returned where they form part of the agreed scope. Required AutoCAD or Revit versions, naming and issue arrangements are confirmed at the start.
Is confidential or white-label support available?
Discreet and white-label working is available by agreement. Confidentiality requirements, branding, file transfer and any NDA are agreed before sensitive project information is shared.
Can you help with Building Regulations drawing production?
Yes, within an agreed technical drawing scope. The client practice can retain its own client relationship and design role. Approval is never guaranteed, and statutory or specialist design responsibilities are agreed project by project.
Do you support businesses throughout the UK?
Remote CAD and Revit production support is available to businesses across the UK. For suitable projects in the Midlands, measured survey and site capture can also be included in the agreed service.
